I am a student leader, AI community builder, and youth mentor passionate about using technology, education, and civic engagement to create meaningful impact. As a Core Team Member of the AI Student Community (Intel × CBSE), I have helped scale AI awareness initiatives, mentored student leaders across India, and contributed to programs reaching tens of thousands of learners. Beyond technology, I serve as Cultural Captain of my school, lead community outreach efforts, volunteer with organizations supporting underprivileged children, and actively participate in public speaking, debate, and Model United Nations. My interests lie at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, education, youth empowerment, and social innovation. I am committed to building inclusive communities, fostering responsible technology adoption, and creating opportunities that enable young people to learn, lead, and contribute to society.

Problem: Existing AQI monitoring systems measure pollution at a city level but often fail to identify localized pollution sources. Open waste burning and smoke emissions in residential areas frequently go undetected until they contribute to larger air-quality deterioration. Authorities rely on manual patrolling and citizen complaints, making monitoring reactive and difficult to scale. Solution & Implementation: We developed SaansSafe AI, an AI-powered pollution intelligence platform that detects, verifies, maps, and predicts localized pollution sources in real time. Using YOLOv8, OpenCV, and PyTorch, the system analyzes CCTV feeds to detect fire and smoke. Citizens can also submit geotagged reports, which are verified using Gemini AI to reduce false reporting. Verified incidents are geo-tagged, stored in a centralized database, and displayed through live pollution heatmaps. Built using Node.js, Express, Socket.io, React, and React-Leaflet, the platform provides real-time alerts and dashboards for citizens and authorities. A predictive analytics module analyzes weather and historical incident data to identify high-risk zones before pollution spikes occur. Current Status: A working prototype has been developed featuring AI-based fire and smoke detection, citizen reporting, Gemini-powered verification, live heatmaps, predictive hotspot analysis, and authority dashboards. Impact: SaansSafe AI helps authorities detect pollution at its source rather than after AQI deterioration. By combining AI-powered monitoring, predictive analytics, and community participation, the platform improves response times, increases reporting accuracy, reduces recurring pollution hotspots, and supports data-driven environmental governance. The solution is scalable, cost-effective, and designed for deployment across Indian cities.
